Particular powers for COVID-19 emergency (under 362B of Public Health Act 2005)
Pursuant to Restrictions on Businesses, Activities and Undertakings Direction (No. 2) Paragraph 13:
Queensland Museum must keep contact information about all guests and staff for contact tracing purposes for a period of 56 days, unless otherwise specified. This information must include: name, address, mobile phone number and the date/time period of patronage. If requested, this information must be provided to public health officers. The information will be securely stored, not used for any other purpose and deleted after 56 days.
Security
If you are providing personal details, credit card numbers, or other information over the internet we will make all attempts
to secure that information. Our online store uses a payment gateway called eWAY for financial transactions. If you
are concerned about the use of cookies for transactional requirements please read the
eWAY Privacy Policy before commencing an online transaction.
Information collected on the Queensland Museum website
