Science on the Move

Extended by popular demand!

Science on the Move
Enjoy, discover and explore principles of light, music and sound, human biology and health, force and motion, ecology and the environment, electricity and magnetism, human population and genetics.

Science on the Move’s intriguing exhibit investigations will engage your mind and body.

Turn yourself into a battery, crank up a tornado in a bottle, escape from handcuffs, Science on the Move predict the outcome of chaos, build a food chain, measure your fitness and much, much more.

Explore the exhibition and solve these questions:

  • Which shape will win a rolling race – the ring, the disc or the ball?
  • Is it easier to balance the stick when the ball is in your hand, or up in the air?
  • How can you separate the handcuffs without removing them from your wrist?

Entry is free for residents of the Toowoomba Regional Council on presentation of proof of address (courtesy of Toowoomba Regional Council).
