Artisans' Challenge

Expressions of interest for 2014 challenge are now open

Cobb+Co Museum is pleased to announce the fourth annual Artisans’ Challenge exhibition, to be held in September 2014. The theme for this year's exhibition is 'Spring'.

Artisans’ Challenge is an exhibition that invites artisans to produce a hand made piece, using traditional trade and craft skills, but in a way that is modern and relevant to today’s society.

Over the past three years the Challenge and its exhibition have proven to be a great opportunity for artisans to showcase their product to a wider audience, and has also created commercial opportunities for the artisans with the works being available for purchase by the general public.

Artisans who are interested in participating in the challenge are asked to read the Terms and Conditions (72 KB) pdf document iconand return the Expression of Interest (534 KB) doc document icon form by Monday 28 April 2014. Applications will then be assessed by a panel, who will select 15-20 artisans to take part in the 2014 Artisans’ Challenge.

For the first time, expressions of interested will be accepted from any artisan based in Queensland.
