Introducing Katie from Porcelain Memories

Katie adores fine China and has been collecting it for more than 30 years. In recent years, she has combined these two passions to start Porcelain Memories, where she works with clients to transform their sentimental china or porcelain pieces, which may be sitting somewhere broken or unused.

“I decided to make some jewellery from one of my grandmother's plates, who sadly passed away, as a way to give a piece of Mar Mar to family members and to keep her memory alive," she said.

"They really struck a chord with everyone, so I created Porcelain Memories."

Katie specialises in unique, custom pieces. You can admire, purchase and order a variety of these exquisite pieces of wearable art in the Museum Shop.
